Client Description
- A large global consumer products manufacturing and distribution company had not provided their division managers training for over two years.
Environment At Point Of Engagement
- During that two year timeframe, about half of their managers had no formal management training since their promotion from a sales or operations position.
Consulting Engagement
- After analyzing the managers’ work environment, a strategy was implemented to provide a leadership program for their managers using a series of training modules that would be perpetual and delivered. As new managers were appointed, they would begin immediately in the leadership training series. ePartnerships consultants developed and delivered a series of modules that included topics on Performance Management, Situational Leadership, Effective Communications, Conflict Management, Time Management, Business Judgment, Motivating People and Developing Teams.
Results
- Within one year, each new manager had cycled through the training series and all were excited about developing their management skills. An employee survey indicated that managers’ leadership behaviors were improving drastically.
